How To Edit (and Archive) Your Campaigns

What:

Editing a campaign in Acclaim Ideas is the process of updating or changing the details of an existing campaign. This could include altering the campaign name, description, timeline, or other related settings.

Why:

As your organization's innovation strategy evolves, you may need to adjust the parameters or focus of your campaigns. Acclaim Ideas allows you to easily edit campaigns, ensuring they remain aligned with your strategic goals and the dynamic needs of your organization.

How:

  1. Navigate to Campaigns: From the left menu on the Acclaim Ideas dashboard, access the 'Campaigns' section.

  2. Select the Campaign: Browse the list of campaigns and select the campaign you wish to edit. Click on the campaign name to open the campaign details page.

  3. Edit Campaign: On the campaign details page, click on the 'Settings' tab. This will allow you to modify the details of the campaign.

  4. Update Details: Change the campaign settings, including status (active or inactive), audience (private or public), type (OKR, HMW, or IC), and timeline (no timeline or a specific start and end date). To change the campaign name, click on the pencil icon next to the title.

    1. NOTE: If you wish to remove a campaign, you can choose 'inactive.' This archives the campaign so that it's no longer editable, and linked ideas cannot be added to it. However, you can re-activate it at any time you wish. Find archived ideas by searching from the top navigation menu bar.

  5. Save Changes: Click on the 'Save' or 'Submit' button to confirm and apply your changes. The campaign details page will now reflect your updates.

Best Practices:

Ensure that any changes made to a campaign continue to align with your organization's strategic objectives.

Communicate any significant changes to your team to ensure they understand the updated campaign focus or parameters.

Notes:

Please remember that altering the details of a campaign could impact the relevance or alignment of ideas already generated within that campaign.
