Managing User Permissions

Acclaim Ideas provides robust permission management features that allow you to control the level of access for each team member. You can determine who can view, edit, or manage specific components in your organization’s innovation process.

 

Why:

Managing permissions effectively ensures that team members have the necessary access to contribute to the idea generation process, while sensitive information remains protected. This is essential for maintaining the integrity of your ideas and the efficiency of your innovation process.

 

How:

  1. Access User Management: Navigate to the "Settings" link on the left menu bar.

  2. Select "Manage Users".
  3. Select User: In the user list, select the user whose permissions you want to manage.

  4. Set Permissions: You can assign specific seat types, such as Innovation, Executive, Standard, and Limited. Each type will grant different levels of access. Learn more about User Roles here.

  5. Save Changes: Once you've set the desired permissions, make sure to save the changes.
