Inviting External Collaborators
What:
You can invite contributors who may not be Acclaim Ideas users to actively participate in your campaigns. Public users can view existing ideas and submit new ideas to active campaigns.
Why:
By including external stakeholders in your ideation process, you can generate a greater variety of innovative solutions to a problem. In addition to fresh insights from a more diverse group of stakeholders, increased participation also fosters greater engagement in the process and the final outcome.
How:
Inviting external collaborators is a simple process. Here's how:

Navigate to the campaign page you'd like to share.

Click on the Share button on the upper right corner of the page.

Click Copy to temporarily save the campaign's public link.

Share the link. Invited users will be able to view the campaign without an Acclaim Ideas account.
Best Practices:
Include a personalized message that clearly explains what the external stakeholder should do.
In your message, share a quick primer on how to add an idea. Adding an idea is done by clicking on the 'Add Idea' button on the top right corner of the public campaign page. The submitter will then need to follow five steps, including naming the idea, summarizing it, and entering their information (optional).
Consider customizing your Privacy Policy and Terms of Service pages to reflect your organization's unique practices, values, and legal obligations.
